The people who work here do not know what they are doing nor do they care. They will not do the work they said they would do, no matter how many times you call. Their system of dealing with your insurance company is a complete mess. These people will send your bill to collections, even if your insurance company calls them and tells them to wait, and they agree to. Ultimately ended up just paying the full cost instead of waiting for my insurance to process my claim because I was so sick and tired of calling every week to make sure that these people had put my claims on hold as my insurance had requested, which they didn't. They also make up random bills and have to double check until they tell you that its a mistake.
Have never seen such incompetence at all levels of the system in my life before.

They told you certain procedure is considered "preventative care" and your insurance will cover all of it. Well it turned out they billed the insurance company for it as a regular visit and it's NOT 100% covered by the insurance. MISLEADING! I will not go here again unless I ran out of choices.

I don’t know how they call themselves a leading hospital. I’m sure their doctors are fine and all, but every single every aspect of them is literally the worst. If I didn’t need a specialist there I would never go back.
They are the embodiment of all that is wrong with the us health care system.

If anyone from Yale is reading this I hope it encourages you to quit that hellscape they call a hospital

Yale New Haven Health is the worst healthcare system in CT. The doctor and staff are decent but the reason I gave them poor review is because all they care about is money. They treat a patient like an enemy. You can’t even find any information about their business office number or location in order to send a letter. They’re not even aware of their obligations under the “surprise billing act of 2022”. They don’t post anything about accommodations for patients with disabilities. Their billing department which is out of state is a nightmare to deal with. Be aware of their billing practices before you see any of their doctors.

If I could give no stars I would. This is a FOR PROFIT organization that harasses it's patient's for payment. Not only were they paid by my insurance I was sent to collections even though I had been paying on my payment plan without missing a single payment for years! At the end of the day the quality of care is horrible too.

Ridiculously expensive, then they mess up payment processing. We were not happy with the results either: as it turned out the first exam did not justify a 2nd. Then were they only calling us back to fetch more money?
